I added this to the frame on the front of my trailer to act as a catch all for the many different things needed while camping - extension cords, chocks, fire equipment. I had to weld a bracket so it would work for my situation, but if your trailer has appropriate crossmembers, this may not be needed. The box is lightweight, contains screws and washers for mounting and has been watertight for me. I did add plywood to the base of the box for increased durability, but it certainly is not needed. I also added additional hardware to ensure it was perfectly stable on my trailer. It has been fantastic for me. I know some people do say that the locking clasp is cheap due to the fact that it is riveted onto the plastic, however, you could drill out the rivets and install screws/bolts if necessary. My lock will keep honest people out, however, if someone wanted to get into the box, it is still plastic! It does what it's intended to and that is to keep my items clean and dry while camping.Good sturdy build and so far it's waterproof (not sealed). Only complaint/suggestion is the bolts they give you don't have much tensile strength so if the metal your going into isn't soft they will snap off. I drilled and tapped separate bolts after drilling out the snapped bolt.I bought "U" brackets to mount it. I didn't want to drill into trailer, as this would create opportunity for rust. I think I will at some point add plastic tubing to the "U" brackets to protect the powder coating even further.Easy to install and durableNot a bad box does need more support in the middleI read this in the reviews and by time I got it and installed it I had completely forgot. But , the screws that they give you are trash. Don’t waste your time - I was able to get one successfully in and in the others all broke. The case itself is very sturdy seems like good quality. Also make sure you leave yourself enough space to be able to open the lid. I left about 2 inches from the back of the trailer. I definitely recommend this productLooks great and does the job. It was a breeze to install, lightweight, and seems like it should last a good long time!I bought this for my car hauler trailer, to hold a battery for the winch ,blocks , ratchet straps, a few tools and odds and ends. It took a bit longer to come than I thought it would so I was in a pinch for time when it arrived . I was worried when I picked it up because it was so light. But I needed one asap so I figured I was being critical and decided to install it. While I installing it and the battery and wiring I was leaning on the edge of the box which completely folded over. It was just as easy to bend it straight again because it is cheaply made of single wall construction. The lid is double walled an the difference is quite noticeable. Now I have this installed and have gotten rid of the packaging and feel very unsatisfied. My fault ultimately I should have followed my first instinct and sent it back immediately. In my opinion if you are looking for a box for things like blankets and pillows this would work but the price should not be what it is, more like $75. tops. A Little Tykes wagon is built sturdier than this box and is fraction of the price. I do not recommend this product.Mine arrived with a pushed in corner, these come with minimal packaging. It's decent for the price but it's only about as sturdy as a Rubbermaid Action Packer tote. If you attached it with the self tappers it comes with I wouldn't put anything very heavy in there. I'm using mine for binders and chain so I put a plywood floor and bolted it down with 6 M10 bolts and drilled drain holes in the back.Mounted this on my 16’ equipment trailer. Fairly well made super easy to mount. Stock mounting screws suck and break off. Used self tappers instead. Tons of room, tons. Leave room behind for lid to open though. It needs about an extra 2-3” of space. Perfect for what I neededThis box is great for light duty but not build for the ruff and tuff guy. But for my light duty trailer it works great for storing thigh down straps and light stuff. Styling is greatExactement ce à quoi je m'attendais!!!! De qualité et waterproof à l'intérieur!!!
